Ever hear a story that a friend is telling that just makes you laugh…
That belly laugh that can only happen spontaneously…
The kind that is so contagious…
Even people around you start laughing…
Just because…you’re laughing!
And you laugh and laugh…
Until you cry!
Or…more!
And then…. Hours later, as you recall the story…
You snicker and chuckle and start to laugh all over again!

Points2Ponder  Why are the Best moments of our lives those “spontaneous, couldn’t be planned if you wanted to, just had to be there to experience it yourself” moments when nothing is better than just letting go and laughing until you cry! Remember those moments? Of course you do—those are the memorable moments of our lives!

Made me remember some of those literally “Laugh Out Loud” moments, when everyone around just lost it and fell to the floor, yes I mean that literally, in uncontrolled laughter and “I cannot believe that just happened” disbelief as tears appear spontaneously and you look at each other and start to laugh even more at the sight of the others laughing so hard!

It had something to do with a “Full Moon”…

We have six kids…five girls and…OUR BOY Schuyler (pronounced skyler)!

Yep—just one boy! But Ohhhh What a Boy!
He is the apple of his sisters’ eye!
And he got away with murder (not literally! Figuratively)
They washed his clothes; cooked for him; even covered for him(oh yeh! You’d be surprised what you find out Once they’ve grown up!)
He had it made…. In the shade!

When our kids were teenagers…it was rare to have all six at home at one time.

On this night in question…we had four of the girls…and our prince!
Some of the best moments…just happen!
The kids decided to get flashlights…I know, I know… cheap entertainment, right?
And they said “Let’s turn out the lights and play hide and seek in the house?”
Creative right? Not really, they were just too lazy to play outside!
So…the point was… when you turn on the flashlight, whoever you saw…
Was like being tagged…and they were out!
So…our youngest got picked to be the one looking for the others(of course!)
And she started going through the house, finding sister after sister..
And as they are found, they became part of the “posse” looking for the others.
And one by one, each girl is found but… no one knows where our son is.
So…they all creep into the living room, quietly, trying to detect him before flashing!
One of them screams “Flash the light! Flash the light!”
And she turns on the flashlight—all eyes pointed to the same thing…

And there it is – FULL MOON!

Yes… THAT kind of Full Moon!

My son was “mooning” his sisters!

And each sister combusted spontaneously in “unbridled, uncontrolled belly laugh” giggles! That grew and grew and…just kept growing!

Did I mention that “we” parents were on the floor laughing also?

Yeh… thought I forgot to mention that!
We were rolling on the floor laughing!
And I was the one rolling!

The girls were wiping tears from their face as they literally laughed out loud!

My wife, who is not known for spontaneous combustion giggling…
Was squealing like a little piglet…just “over the top” laughter!
I tell you the truth…this went on for 30 minutes!

And to this day…whenever someone brings up ….
“What was the biggest full moon you’ve ever seen?”

We all start laughing all over again…and scream “SCHUYLER!!!!”
